Re: Hooking up a video camera to a mixer.If they're using mains power for the camera it could very well introduce a ground loop so you'd want to avoid that.Some cameras output 'phantom power' on the mic inputs and may cause troubles for your mixer. Always assume that the client's equipment is bad and you need to protect yourself from it.
