Re: How do you carry your mic stands? Nick, I finally bought a 5 x 8 trailer with enough headroom to put an overhead rack in for tripod speaker stands, lighting bars, and shade umbrella. Mic stands go in a custom case, 11.25" x 22.5" x 35", fits a dozen inside, and a kick stand outside (not pictured in the photo). I also use four Latin Percussion "Claws" for drums, save a lot of space in the pack and on small stages. If you are only using tripod mic stands, an easy, expandable system that protects the stands is to use PVC pipes with end caps glued on the bottom, then ratchet strap them together top and bottom. Easy to haul quite a pile in one trip on a two wheel dolly that way. You could also screw them to strips of plywood, make an "8 pack" to fit over each wheel well if a circular bundle does not fit well in your load. Art
