How to kill an iPhone 5!

So, if you've ever wondered "what's the quickest and easiest way to kill my iPhone 5," well, I have the solution!

I was doing a gig Friday night- one of my LED pars was acting goofy, so I took it to FOH to troubleshoot it. My iPhone was sitting on the metal rim of a case charging and playing walk in music. I plugged the light in, plugged an XLR cable into it, and as I was reaching around to plug the XLR cable into my light board, the metal shell of the XLR connector touched the metal rim of the case. A loud bang went over the PA, and the music stopped. Yup- completely fried the phone. The iPhone charger cord was charred and the phone smelled like burnt plastic. Looks like just enough voltage was going through that cable to fry the phone. I was bummed.

So, in true Office Space spirit, I took the light out into the parking lot, and beat the shit out of it with a baseball bat.

oh...I thought you were going to post pics of running over your iPhone in a tank..or at least something involving a firearm. 6/10.
