They both have music pretty much every night and neither are very far from The Field Museum etc. There's also the Jazz Showcase in the old Dearborn station. I don't know much about it but it looks like they have a free show with the inimitable Wayne Messmer on the 3rd. What kind of music are you looking for? Biker music?
