And I thought the prices for the late Harry Donavan's classic book on rigging were bad. Amazon.com: Buying Choices: Entertainment Rigging Of course it isn't Amazon setting those prices but third party sellers, going for whatever the market will bear.

One of my books which has been out of print for 10 years and out of date for nearly as long periodically shows up listed for a sky high price.
Of course I wrote it as a work for hire so even if it did sell I wouldn't see any of it.

Unless you buy it, wait for it to get even rarer and re-sell it for even more

I would really love if these books were still in print, since it makes it incredibly difficult for people like me (ankle-biters) to get the information we need to move up the way things currently are.
