IEMs to send out Mixer Signal, how do I build the cable?

I have a spare Sennheiser ew300-G3 IEM system floating around… instead of running a 200-300’ of XLR cables, is it possible for me to use the IEMs to send the mixer signal to the powered speakers?

The IEM pack uses a 3.5MM TRS with a L-R-G for ear buds. So how would I build the cable to use a XLR-M into 1 input on the Power Speaker?

Yes. I do it all the time.

I just use stock "ipod" cables and adapt one channel of the cable to the speaker. You are sending mono, I assume, so you don't need (or want) to combine the two channels out of the pack. My powered speakers accept 1/4" line input, so I just adapt to that.

Yeah, I would think this would be pretty simple to do with your basic stereo mini plug to dual 1/4" unbalanced adapter cable.
Something like one of these: Peavey Y-cable: Mini plug TRS to dual 1/4 TS

Use one 1/4" connector for mono operation, or use both for summing a stereo feed.

Of course this assumes that the loudspeaker in question has 1/4" inputs. If not, you will need some adapters to make it happen.
