Re: In ear monitoring and a 2 way micThe easiest way to do this is with a switched vocal mic. you turn on your mic, it feeds a speaker or headphones at the engineer's location. The engineer has a mic, and can feed it to a channel of the aviom monitors. A variation for singers uses an XLR A/B switch to alternately route the mic's signal to the mixing console OR to the talk back system. Avoid trying to interface a 2 way radio into your monitors.
