Re: Insurance for weekend guysAgain, most of the premium is based on exposure and gross sales. This is JV and we are talking general liability insurance for weekend warriors. I am sure rates vary in different parts of the country and believe me they vary from carrier to carrier but here in Georgia, with a little shopping, good rates can be had with a premium company. I just checked my policy and "DJ" doesn't appear anywhere on my binder or on any of the certificates (even though I occasionally go out with some dubstep DJ's). I made it very clear what I do including the lighting rigs I have.
