So, IOS7 came out today.

A&H already said to wait a bit on GLD Remote till they finish testing.

I looked at the Yamaha site and, I could not believe that they are still warning that Stage Mix doesn't work with IOS6!!
Well, it does.

Maybe I will update next week after others dip their toes in the fruity water :-)

I would warn against updating your control devices to iOS7 yet. I jumped in and updated my iPhone 5 last night and have already found a handful of bugs, so I wouldn't do the iPad just yet, especially not for anything mission critical.

YMMV, just my $0.02.

Report: iPad2 (16gb, wifi) iOS7 and StageMix LS9 V: 4.0.2 = I would say it works better! No sluggishness on the meters and such. However my only complaint is that the screen now dims out when the app is sitting idle.

StageMix did release an App update around 7-8pm Est on the 18th stating it works with iOS7.


iOS7 on iPhone4, OMG does the phone get retarded slow when listening to Pandora and getting directions from Google Maps.

I guess some people just like to have something to bitch about. ISO7 is a pretty cool upgrade and app programmers had better keep up with it if they want to remain relevant.

It adds some extra gps/networking stuff and real multitasking. You need to tweak the settings to conserve power.

Briefly tried out the CL and M7 versions today--they both seemed to work fine at a cursory glance.

iPad 2, iOS7, current version of StageMix, and current console firmware.
