He's the one that suggested the book to me a few years ago when I came to him with networking questions. I also bought a copy of Peter Norton's "Complete Guide to Networking" for a more formal and less "dummied" approach once I got familiar with the topic. The Norton book is from 1999, but TCP/IP networking hasn't changed that much in terms of our comparatively small audio control networks.
