Hi,

Is have set up my soundcraft SI expression 2. I connected it with a TP-Link C1200 router. I use an Ipad A16 to control the soundcraft
If I use the console, I see the faders move on the Ipad. But when I use the Ipad, the faders are not moving on the console neither does any other function.
The app can locate the desk, but can not controle it.

Desk is version. 2.1 0006 and app is 3.6.0

- I use DHCP on all devices
- All devices have the same subnet
- All devices have a unique HiQnet adress
- All devices have the latest software

These parts I am not sure if I did it right, i could not find port fowarding in my router, only port triggering:

- I have setup UDP port 3333, by using port triggering :
Triggering port: 3333
triggering protocol: UDP
External port: 3333
External protocol: UDP
- I have setup TCP port 3333, by using port triggering :
Triggering port: 3333
triggering protocol: TCP
External port: 3333
External protocol: TCP

I hope you guys can help me on my way

Reset your router - the "push the button on the box/insert the paper clip" type of reset. You want to go back to the out of the box experience. Port triggering should not be necessary.

You should not need to do anything with network settings to make it work. Seriously, get the IP addresses in the same subnet - iPad, WAP, mixer.. and it should just work. Then it will stop working for no apparent reason and mysteriously resume working later that night or the next day. That's probably the experience Riley is referring to.

The people at Soundcraft don't care about iPad mixing. The ap stinks and connectivity is buggy.
I loved my 2 Performers but sold them and went w/ Midas M32 because the aps worked not because the board was better

When I read this again, there is a step I remember that it sounds like you haven't done.
iPad sort of works faders don't move. It's like the last step of set up.
I'll see if I can find my notes and post them. It's been a while though. (6-8 years)
(I'll bet they haven't updated the ap in those 6-8 years , lol!
