iPod rack mount solution

I'm working with a client that wants to create a rack that has iPods mounted on the surface near the mixer. What I'm looking for is something that can hold 2 iPods in a 2 or 3 rack space. Ideally, it's just something that clamps to the sides of the iPod so it would be easily adaptable to changing models. Cabling would be just a through hole on the rack.

Any ideas on something like this?

A 1RU pull out shelf. With velcro on it maybe.

They are going to mount on top, on a slant mount rack. Velcro is an option, I suppose, but I was thinking something more along a clamp, such as like a car mount. There's a ton of crappy solutions available, but I was hoping to make something nicer for the client.

If you're ok with fabbing something up from a blank panel, you might look at this from Panavise
