Looks like a variation on the old 300 Ohm twin-lead antenna connector. The last photo shows the scale the best, and it looks smaller than the standard AC plug.

I have seen AC power twistlocks used as mic connectors.
I will not even start to talk about the things that I did. They worked fine-but were not exactly (or even close) to being what you would call "code" or "standard practice".
All kinds of things have been done in years past.

I have a collection of antique radios and have some with socket connections like in the ebay link for phonograph inputs or additional tuner inputs. I've just jammed bare-wire in the holes to test them and they do what they say they do (And I don't think phono inputs from that era have RIAA curves!) Also seen them for speaker outputs as well. Banana plugs didn't seem to fit.
