Studio Gear LLC in Milwaukee, WI is looking for Event Technicians to join our team. We are a premier provider for audio, video, lighting and event production services, serving clientele both locally and nationwide.
Event Technicians will be responsible for the overall set up and tear-down of audio-visual equipment. They will work with clients to ensure proper set up and functionality of the equipment assigned and will provide technical assistance and training to the client and/or staff in the use of the audio/visual equipment. Duties include but are not limited to: set up, operation and tear down of video, lighting, sound equipment, including cabling, troubleshooting and integration with related equipment for events.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Experience in related field preferred
Physical Requirements
This position requires you to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally move more than one hundred pounds of equipment. Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical is a must.
Compensation
- Generous hourly rate with overtime, paid bi-weekly
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Company provided cell phone, laptop, PPE, and tools as required for job
