K Array users?

Re: K Array users?

I've used the 200 and 400 Redline series pretty extensively. Clients love them(and ask for them specifically) because they look great, anything more than DJ playback and a handheld and I try to stray away from them though.

There's a reason why higher end companies aren't building column array speakers with tiny drivers, and it's not because they're hard to make.

Could you be more specific regarding these two statements?

What I personally don't like about them is the lack of mids. It makes them sound super crisp for playback, but I haven't been able to get a voice to sound natural with lavs. I don't usually put lavs into subs so having an 18" or 21" driver picking up the slack for the small drivers isn't ideal for me.

Thanks!
