Re: Klark Teknik DN9340 I've found that no matter how I calibrate the touchstrip I get the frequency either side of it. So I am used to using the knobs on the right instead. Next, when using the 9344 as well, you need to push the comms/setup button to bring up the menu which allows you to choose which device you want to control - in the case of 9344's they appear as 2 devices in the list. HOWEVER, if you hold that comms/setup button down too long you go into the setup menu which wants to discover which units are connected. So quick pushes only ! The 9340 has a nice screen showing the overall frequency response of all the combined options - filters, parametrics and graphics. I suspect most of the features are similar to those on other digital eq's. In terms of use, i'm used to it and can do things fairly quickly. Eg to add a parametric filter with a narrow q at 3K you would: Ensure you're on the right channel Press Parametric button. Add button. Use freq knob to move to 3K Use gain knob to taste Use Q knob to taste To remove para's is fairly straightforward - from memory something like menu button, remove, then you need to turn two knobs in sequence (remove, are you sure) and then keep doing the 2 knobs to remove all. There may be a remove all feature that i've not bothered to find ? Graphics has a freq flat option - I tend not to use the graphics though with the power of the parametrics. Lastly I loooove when i'm not actually using the eq 'cause of no need but signal is running through it.. and then I ask people what happens if I turn it off ? And then I do. Andrew
