I have a DN360 that needs to be repaired, I have significant noise on the B channel which is intermittent. I bought this unit used so I have no idea where it's been or what it's seen.

After a quick search I found this Vancetek online but they have not responded to email and the phone number on their website has been disconnected.

Is there a good privately owned repair shop for Klark Teknik or should attempt to send it back to the manufacturer? This is not an emergency, I have other EQ's.

The noise is intermittent, or the signal is?
Is the noise dependent on a fader or pot movement?

A lot of older gear like the 360 are fairly easy to fix with basic solder skills, and a little bit of electronics knowledge.

We do a lot of our repairs in house, what we can't do gets sent out to a local electronics repair shop.

The noise is intermittent, the signal just becomes noisy. We had to bypass it in the middle of a show last weekend. Yes, the noise does depend on fader movement, I suppose I could try cleaning the faders.

I have an Associates Degree in Electronics, but I typically send items of this nature off to a certified repair facility just to ensure the quality of the repair, parts, etc...In the past when I have attempted my own repairs I typically spend more time and energy tracking down the necessary parts than if I had just sent it to someone who had the parts on hand.

Jim Sawyer is your guy. When The Music Group bought Midas/KT from Bosch, Jim left the company after years of being the Senior Repair Tech for M/KT and started his own business.
