Labgruppen E-series constant orange "LIM" light illuminated

I have a LG e4:2 that doesn't pass audio from one channel and the LIM led for that channel is lit a constant orange. This particular condition was not mentioned in the user manual. I know these amps often can tell when a speaker connected to an output is blown, and that is possible--at some point I have to test a working speaker on that channel, but in the meantime I wondered if the light specifically indicated a bad channel or something else I'm not aware of.

Not sure about this range of amps, but if I remember correctly the FP amps would show a fault with a very low resistance connected. An example of this would be a burned up voice coil that basically acted as a straight wire.

This also happens when you send input through a channel with no speaker connected.

If if I recall it has to go back to LG for service. I have had a couple E12.2 amps do this. I would give their tech support a call they are really helpful and can confirm.
