Lake Controller software v5.8 and Windows 8..How doya get it to work??

Just trying to get this figured out. I know it's not the I/O.. something in my settings.
Very much appreciate any help.

I run it in a virtual machine on a copy of xp or windows 7

What sort of host and what sort of VM client are your using to accomplish this in XP? The Lake controller simply stalls on start up when I use an XP virtual machine on a 2011 MacBook Pro using VNware Fusion.

I run it in a virtual machine on a copy of xp or windows 7

I use virtual box, making sure to install the virtual box extensions. It runs fine across windows x86 and Mac x86 platforms. Though it can be a little jerky if run on an Intel hd3000 gfx adaptor (or worse)
