Lake processing

Re: Lake processing

This might be pushing the rules of the forum. But at eventually when you start getting larger than say 16 outputs id start looking at the PLM amplifiers. Using Dante one can look at 10 PLM10000Q amplifiers as a large matrix.

100,000 watts

20 inputs

40 outputs

The amplifier becomes a decentralized i.o.

Channels get routed to any in, any out.

Price wise things get very competitive when one considers that a centralized DSP (Audia/MediaMatrix/London) will not be required.

Re: Lake processing

PLM is great, but what about 16 mic inputs and 2 outputs? Wall control? Outputs that need to go to destinations other than passive speakers?

PLM makes sense for a production company, but it's still limited when it comes to install. I still want an LM32, with I/O cards, 32ch in or out!

Re: Lake processing

have u guys seen the ''custom'' lake processors for sale on fleebay at the moment?

aparently they were made for clair bros.any ideas what differences they have?

Lake was hired by Clair to make the DSP. Clair was directly involved in the original design. The Clair I/O is the original Lake processor.
