I am designing the Lion King (JR) in about two months and would like to explore the idea of using a LCR system. Currently, we are only setup for a center line-array with 3 speakers and a sub. I have access to two KW122 speakers that I could mount from a balcony almost in line with the center (horizontally and almost vertically (5 feet below) and about 20-25 feet off from center. I am hoping that by having a full LCR system, it would allow me to create some more dynamic reverbs (have slightly different reverb in the L and R channel), separate the soloist from the mix, and really fill up the room and add some depth to the choruses along with some general stereo imaging when needed. So my question is if this would be an appropriate use for a LCR system and what should I do to minimize the "power spots" and "dull spots" partly caused by comb filtering? Thanks for your help! *I am in a large auditorium and mixing on a Yamaha QL5
