Is there such a thing as a 16 channel line level mixer with 8 aux sends, a L/R bus and no eq section on the market?

I could use something like a Soundcraft GB4, but I don't need a mic preamp or a eq section. This is for a preamp summing project. Something like a Midas XL88 would be perfect if it had a L/R bus and pre/post selection on the outputs.

Might be expensive:

The recording world uses them. Google "summing mixer". Hope this helps.

Re: Line level mixer

Perhaps a Shure Auxpander, if you can find them used... depending on how your user interface needs to work...
Of course, I guess you could probably also use a stack of 1 RU "line mixers" with the inputs all parallel wired, though you may want to pay attention to the input impedance or use a D/A to feed all those inputs. A quick search using Google dished up the Rane SM-82 (though it is a stereo unit), ART MX-821, and the Rolls RM82... However all these units have Mic preamps on their balanced XLR inputs, and all are unbalanced on the line inputs. A more "pro" grade solution would be the API 8200A or that AMS-Neve 8816 Thomas mentioned.
If you would like a unit with properly balanced line inputs with separately driven balanced direct outputs (this would nicely facilitate parallel wiring of as many units as you could want without having to worry at all about the impedance), you may want to have a look at the Architectural Acoustics Automix Control 8. Yes, it has way more things on it than you need, but it does have all balanced I/O and it costs a LOT less than the AMS-Neve 8816 and API 8200A. Yes, you can disable the "Automixing" function on each channel and you can bus more than one unit together to give you additional channels. Yes, it is a Peavey product:

Of course, this kind of thing would be super easy to do in a DSP system but I'm guessing you want a set of real handles to grab and operate in a live environment. What you are seeking is very much an odd duck and short of having it custom built, I'm guessing you're going to need to piece something together like this.
