Re: Loading single file to LS9 Sort of. You can't load individual scenes from a USB stick. When you save a file to the USB drive, you're writing the full configuration of the console... in/outport patching, libraries, users prefs and permissions and all 300 scenes. But there are work-arounds... If you have a current configuration on your USB stick, plug it into whatever computer you have running Yammy Studio Manager w the appropriate M7 Editor for your console firmware. Open the file and create a copy with a new name. Open the copy Studio Manager and use it to create your new scene(s). In Studio Manager, use "Save As" to select file type .M7C and save it to your USB stick. If you just chose "Save" it will get a .YSE extension that the console won't open. You can load this into the desk at the show. Oh, back up the current console config first... If you have your laptop set up to connect to the M7 via Ethernet, you can open 2 instances of the M7 editor (might require 2 instances of Studio Manager, it's been a long time....). In one window, bring up the CONSOLE scene memory; in the other bring up the scene you're creating on the computer. You can drag and drop scenes between the windows. You can do this live, too, with the console passing audio. I think Mike Nicoletti has a step by step post about this in the Archived PSW LAB. You might do a search, as this has come up before and I vaguely recall there being an additional way to do this. Have fun, good luck. Tim Mc
