Re: M7 & Studio Manager Not quite correct, Rick... The file type would be .M7C not .L9A but I'm sure that's just a typo. The real problem is you cannot open a console "All Data" file in the the Scene Library window. You can only open "Scene" files there. There's a couple of ways to do this, with and without Studio Manager at the other end. With:

Save your console setup on the USB stick.
Open up Studio Manager and the M7CL editor and either open the file from your USB drive or connect the console to your computer and sync Console to PC.
In the Editor, open the Scene Memory page.
Drag the 20 Scenes you need from the right window to the left. You can select several at once.
On the top left of that screen, click "SAVE AS..." and save this Scene Memory file with a name that identifies it as a "Scene" file and not an "All Data" file, like MyBand-SCENES.M7C. You can copy that file to your USB stick, but again, make sure you know which file is "All Data" and which is the "Scenes" as they will both have the .M7C extension.
When you get to the other gig, fire up SM and the M7CL editor, connect to the M7CL and sync Console to PC.
Save this setup in the M7CL editor to the computer just in case. This is the current state of the M7CL.
Put your USB key into that computer
Open the Scene Memory page.
Click on OPEN and navigate to to your USB key and the SCENE file you saved previously.
Your Scenes will show up on the left window.
While staying online with the M7CL, drag your scenes to open spaces on the window on the right. Be careful not to overwrite the Scenes that are already on the console.
The Scenes will show up on the M7CL after they transfer.
Without: I've not done this, but it should work. The above method is the best and I recommend you bring your laptop with SM and the Editor installed and use the above method.

Follow steps 1-5 as above. However, this procedure only works if you know ahead of time what scenes are available on the desk you're going to. You need to put your scenes in the locations on the left side of the screen where they will be going on the console you're going to be using.
When you get to the other gig, put your USB key into the M7CL.
Open the Scene Memory page and find your SCENE file. The "Type" column should show "SCENE" not "ALL" for this file.
Select the SCENE file and open it.
It should load your scenes into the locations you picked earlier. It will overwrite existing scenes on the console if they match, so make the scenes on the console "Read Only" if you want to protect them. "Protect" may not work, they should be "Read Only" (so the scenes to be protected must be in sequence from Scene 1 with no gaps).
