Mackie Monitor Replacement Advice Needed!

Well here goes for my first post. I left one of my Mackie HR624s in the rain and it is toast.

I love these and have been using them for years.

I am hopeful to get it repaired, but need to replace it meantime.

Thinking about getting a MK11 of the same, would that match well enough?

OR.. thinking about the HR824 as a stop gap, would this be suicide for mixing due to the size difference? I was thinking the extra bass extension might be useful.

The idea is that, whatever I get, I eventually get my beloved Mk1 repaired and get another of the new monitor to make a pair.

If I have made myself clear enough, what do you people think?

I still really enjoy my HR824s. I think any setup that doesn't match L&R would be challenging. I don't have any experience with newer models, but would guess that a pair of used HR824s would be relatively reasonable.
