Earlier this week I was asked if could provide a portfolio for a conference I am attending. My question is simply this - how on earth are we supposed to create a standalone paper portfolio besides simply listing the events we've done and maybe putting any documentation we made of it. It's not like a cartoonist who can put thousands of strips together, or a scenic artist who can show pictures.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi Max - sent you a PM. A photo album is the answer. You are taking pictures of your gigs, right? :)

TJ - I know you directed it at Max, but seems a universal question.
Uhhh... I was, but stopped. Probably should start back up, huh?

Knowing that you're going to take a picture to potentially show other people also has the tendency to make one dot the 'i's and cross the 't's for gig cleanliness. It's also been fun for me to see my progression. Gigs I was proud of 5 years ago don't even make the photo gallery, as I've now got more experience, better equipment, and generally better shows.
