So if you're in flip mode and you do flip to an aux or a matrix, it is expected that when you re-select said aux or matrix that you would "flip back" to your standard non-flipped mode. But instead, the machine stays flipped and there is nothing to do about it except (what has sadly become a routine operation for me) deselect the flip button, select an input and re-select the flip button returning effectively to the expected flipping behavior.
Re: Midas firmware 2.1.02 is now available! Yes. http://mkt.ftpstream.com/ As of now, the 2.1.02 firmware is only available on the pro2 and pro1. (AFAIK) What's new:

The shimmer compressor is now available on inputs.
Every compressor has a new "mor" (or "mdr"? (I can't recall)) button and I don't know what it does yet :-)
The previously unassigned "mode" button is now operable on the gate(s) as there are now 3 gate modes.
The first gate is the same as it was, the second is called "transient gate" so I would assume it is more transient-oriented in its signal analysis. And the third one is a ducker which is a pretty great addition!
Newcomer in the effects rack, a phase correction processor (4 stereo or 8 mono)
Newcomer in the effects rack, the "Sub Monster" effect. It sounds like a pitch shifter with a low-pass but it's way better and really great sounding!
Newcomer in the effects rack, the "Tape Saturation" effect. Pretty cool addition. No spoiler here but it looks pretty cool.
Newcomer in the effects rack, a DN60 emulation. It's an RTA with multiple inputs and signal comparison capabilities.
That's what I've found so far. I'm still getting trapped in flip mode (am I the only one experiencing this issue?) I never notified Midas about this because I could not reproduce the bug at will. But damn is this a frustrating one (especially when training someone to use it).
