Mini DSP Balanced 2.1

I just set up and tuned my mini dsp today.
Here are some things to know about it first before I tell you how awesome it is for the price
-you have to get a power supply (radio shack has the right one)
-you have to buy the program to run it.

Now that is over here is the good
Easy to use the computer interface is simple to get around.
Very flexible it has 6 eqs on each input and 6 eqs on the outputs.
A very flexible cross over sections with lots of selectable filter options.
The delay is limited 7.5 ms which is not ideal but it is enough for most applications
But the dsp did the job eq the system quickly and easily. If you are looking for a budget dsp this is a good option.

Re: Mini DSP Balanced 2.1

I did a project about a year ago with the unbalance 2x4 MiniDSP. For my project I wanted a card I could mount inside a mixer/amp head that I'd modified out of something else. The MiniDSP worked great for it - was totally fine running off whatever voltage was available (I gave it its own 7815 regulator off the amp rails), has little or no turn-on thump.

Dynamics would have been nice to have, though. One or more of the bigger (more I/O, also more $$) cards will do dynamics.
