Attention band members:

Taping down everything on my stage does not make you look professional if you use duct tape. It makes you look like a putz.

If you manage to pull up everything at the end of the night EXCEPT the tape, you are a double putz.

Not as bad as people pulling up taped cables without removing the tape first...

That is how they are pulling things up without removing the tape.

I end up with two pieces split down the middle side by side.

Ah, yes. I as talking about when the the tape stays on the cables when it's pulled up then wraps around the cable and sticks to itself.

Exactly. That's not a "no" but a "HELL NO" situation.

All MINE are OK because the stage is dressed before they arrive to set up.

Its their own stuff. I really don't care if they screw up their own stuff, just don't leave 8 foot long swathes of glue on the floor.

I might "help" make that happen, to their cables, if someone duct tapes my stage.
