The latency you describe can get much much worse as the bandwidth gets gobbled up in the 2.4Ghz region at a gig. I would be very concerned that eventually you would get drop-outs in addition to unacceptable latency.Still, it is priced very attractively. I can think of no way to get wireless monitoring for less money.
