Old bikes (assuming you don't choose a dog in the first place) follow a bathtub curve of value (kinda like high end vintage audio gear) . I sold my CB400F for many times what I bought it for, and anyone who has an old Vincent HRD (or even an unbent Kawasaki 500 triple, many of which killed their young riders) is sitting on a small fortune. There's a fine line between old junk and desirable collectable.M
