Hi All,
New to the X32. I am jumping over from the Mackie DL32R. I love everything about the X32. The one thing I cannot figure out, and was hoping for some help here, is how to get our in ears to remain usable while the channels are not audible in the mains. On the Mackie, I was able to mute all the channels but still have audio in the auxes for our in ears. At times when sound checks are not possible, it is great to have the FOH playing some music while we test each input to insure they are working and also to insure that out in-ears are working. Can this be done with the X32? - Thanks in advance. Much appreciated.

Assign various channels to the DCAs (subgroups). Mute the DCAs for front of house. This will keep the IEMs active.

lol!! This made me think of the old Mackie 1604's where when feedback broke out and you muted the channels...the monitors remained active. Loved that!. On the X 32 you can set where the monitor sends tap off the channels...just set them before the mute.

Both suggestions are the right answer. By tapping the monitor send before mute, you can mute individual channels from the mains, but if you do that, then you can't completely mute the channels. By using DCA groups, you can mute entire groups from the mains and still have individual control to completely mute each channel. That would be my preferred method.

Hi All. Can someone please point me in the direction of where I need to be to tap the monitor send before the mute? I am on an X32 Rack. I have the DCA mutes working great. Appreciate the help so far!
