Custom Built Rack Box - MV Enclosures - 10 rack space + extras - as far as I could tell, MV Enclosures is no longer in business, so this rack box style may be hard to find. This is a heavy duty rack box with an added modification; an electrician that also did some performing added 20 amp outlets that can accept the 3-prong style plug with the left blade horizontal instead of vertical. The cable is 12/3 gauge 20 amp (you can look it up on google), meaning 3 wires not including the ground, each 12 gauge, which is required for 20amp outlets. So it can handle the juice of some hefty amps. Originally, there were two Carvin DCM 2000 amps (total of 4000 watts) in this case, so it was built to handle power. Our Mackie M2600 had this kind of plug. The measurements are 19" x 20.5" x 20.5" when the ends are off. When the ends are on, they add 3" each side, so the dimensions are 19" x 20.5" x 26.5" (does not come with dolly with wheels underneath)

Two heavy duty handles on each side. Also, each end piece that comes off has 4 heavy duty clips (2 on the left and 2 on the right of both end pieces). There's a channel groove around the entire square lining that fits snugly into each end piece, making the fit air tight once the clips are tightened. Very well made construction.

The retail price for the MV Enclosure rack box we have was $500. We're selling it with the "upgraded electrical modification" for $195. Take a look at it for yourself to see what we're talking about.

Actually Ryan, 12/3 does include the ground in that 12/3 just means there are 3 conductors with a size of AWG 12. Just didn't want bad info out there.
