Re: My Mixer Problem
Okay... Here is what I want to achieve with my setup...:
I would like to use Roland Integra-7 sound module as my main sound source. So I would like to record via using Integra-7 into a DAW ( Logic, etc...) with either Akai EWI 4000s Wind controller or a Midi Keyboard.
On the other, my 99% of my compositional tasks will be done via using DAWS such as Propellerheads' Reason, Ableton Live, Samples, etc...
I am also thinking about getting a KYMA Pacarana Sound Design Computer which is going to be no problem because I can use it with its own Software called Kyma X.
Other than that, I would like to add to my system a AKAI Renaissance and Native Instruments' Komplete 9 with Maschine - also - Arturia Spark hybrid drum machine and some other synthesizers such as Nord Lead etc...
Also I would like to add to my setup a Universal Audio Apollo 16 Sound card and its plug-ins to use them for instance when I am on Ableton Live and use Apollo 16's effects instead of other VSTs or AUs. And also after mixdown, I would like to master the tracks with its mastering effects.
So, the brain of this setup will be a mixer but I don't know either it will be a Behringer X32 or a MACKIE MCU PRO Controller or both?
I will need many faders because after first recording, I will use the motorized faders to change the volume anywhere I want on the song while it is on overdubbing recording. And the next time I play the recording, the places on the composition I overdubbed recording and changed the volume on them with faders will move ...
