So no need for a split snake, simply run a Cat5 cable to the additional desk(s). This type of thing making its way down into Prosumer level consoles is interesting. $5K for a PAIR of 32ch consoles without the need for a $1500ish analog split snake will be hard to resist for many if they can minimize the failure rate.
