The x-32 path is generally regarded as flat and accurate, so to sound very different from that would not come from being more accurate. We already have heard that the Midas mic preamp has a soft limiter built in so that will sound different if over-driven. If the midas outputs are more robust there may be some marginal applications where that could make a difference. The improved look and feel should be enough for many. JR</blockquote>
