The city with big shoulders
My wife arranged for the family to meet at Ravinia to see Dave Brubeck, backed by all four sons. At 89, Dave is still a master of his art, save an allowance for speed-eldest son Darius took the lead on Blue Rondo a la Turk.

Great job on mic'ing Dan's drum kit too.

A wonderful evening of great jazz.

All three of the Brothers Brubeck are very sound reinforcement savvy. Chris in particular knows his way around the gear and they all know how to communicate what they want to the sound crew.

And Brubeck père still knows his way around the piano pretty well for an "old guy".
