I developed a similar problem possibly as you, on my repairs bench when I swapped out my florescent magnifying work light for LED when the old one died, the new power supply is generating a buzz in my test amp, and no amount of shielding on anything associated resolved it. Apparently it's a somewhat common issue these days when I did some Google research. Of course for you it could end up being just be a bad ground on an input wire, or bad mixer, etc. Besides the wall plate you mentioned, have you tried selectively unhooking any other signal cables one at a time ? If it gets a little lower with each one you unhook, it's probably interference from the lighting supply. For me, moving the cables as far away from each other as I could, reduced it to an acceptable level of buzz, but it's still there. I even tried adding a ground to the new light since the power supply was just hot and neutral.
