Re: Operating as an LLCI chose to form an LLC because it provides some liability protection, it supports the disregarded entity tax liability treatment, and because it's a simpler and less expensive route than a C or S corporation here in Virginia. As I understand it, states have different LLC formation and registration requirements, and I strongly suggest you consult with an attorney to review your paperwork.
