I've got a somewhat large outdoor show coming up (500-ish)

I know I don't have enough rig to cover all of them, but I don't need to completely.

Here's what I was thinking.

Two double 18's single high center

two jbl SR4731A's with 60x40 (2385's) instead of the stock 2380's left and right on scaffolding

The above processed 3/way thru a dbx DRPA.

Then a pair of Peavey SP4's run full-range off the matrix for front-fills - L/R placed on ground aimed inward toward dance area, seperately EQ'd & powered.

Does that sound feasible?

Sounds good to me, I have done similiar sized gigs with a pair of 4731A's on top, but you gotta have some serious power for them. You didn't mention what you are powering them with.

Should work fine. Just keep an eye on the Sp4s as far as volume goes. You may not be able to tell from FOH how loud they are and you don't want to damage anyone! :)
