Peavey Versarray 218 Experience

Anyone use these? I see there is a user selling a grip of them for 675$ a unit. Have a couple gigs that could benefit from having 2 dual 18s a side and I just have a pair of 728s currently. Using SRX tops that will eventually have to be re thought as well. Just asking out of curiosity on opinions. I get some generic riders from some corporate style stuff occasionally and wouldn't want to turn people off but do have some stuff with lax requirements as well.

It's been 9 years since I've heard the VR218 but recall being impressed with them. I didn't hear them side by side with anything else but remember thinking wow, that's a lot of output and wow, those are Peavey?

Just daydreaming that 4 of these and the DIY mid hi box on here would probably be a slamming little system for decent price.

I've worked with both the VR218 and the SRX728, both are great subs. The Versarray has the edge output wise, with the SRX728 seemingly going a bit lower in frequency response.

The wheels and handles on the VR218 are nice.
