Try calling the rental yards. Most of them can refer you to manufacturer-sponsored or private training/testing.

Why, Brother Bigler... how you talk!

A number of Locals sell training to technicians from outside their Local on a space-available basis. Some use it as a recruiting tool. And the most available union training may not be from the IATSE; I'd bet the IBEW or Carpenters have a lot more demand for this.

Sorry, I guess I assumed that they likely wouldn't. I have contacted a couple of other Locals about training information for our apprentice program and didn't get a response. I guess I assumed that the response from a non member would be even more cool, especially in a Union strong hold like Chicago.
