My Protea digital eq is locked in mute.I don't why it muted but not sure how to get it un muted.Tried the mute button but that didn't work.Only bank A is muted.Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you using a remote control on this model? If so you may have to unmute it on the unit itself. IF it was muted on the unit, that trumps the remote. Also if there is a dominate channel, You will have to switch to that channel to mute/unmute.

I'm not using the remote.What is the proceedure for unmuting?Do I have to do anything other than hit the mute button?Is there another step I am missing?

If worse comes to worse, reinitialize the unit. It should power up unmuted at this point.

The fuckin manual doesn't tell you how to unmute.Even if it did,that wasn't the problem. However,thank you to Geri O for the suggestion to re-intialize the unit.I read in the manual how to do a master re-set and That worked.
