And they all have one thing in common: The ADAT connections are permanent and whatever gear is interconnected is either mounted in the same case, or ADAT is converted to another format before leaving the case. I don't trust ADAT for repeated connections. Following this rule I have had ZERO issues running word clock/sync over ADAT!
