R.I.P. Steve Jobs

Hopefully he has created a sustainable culture of excellence, and picked a realistic successor. The man took a company on the brink of failure and grew it to be larger than its competitors in only a decade using his force of will, based on the idea that users want an exceptional experience. In the meantime he reinvented the way computers are built, changed the direction of the music industry, and gave the mobile phone industry a jolt it still doesn't know how to recover from. RIP.

"Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me... Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful... that’s what matters to me."

President Obama on Steve Jobs: "Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it".

I always wanted to be like Steve but only mastered items 1 and 2. For number 3 I have no choice but to keep lurking on forums like this and hope the great knowledge I gather will make me succeed.

Steve, you will be missed. RIP.

This is actually very sad though when someone goes another comes by. I do not know if that someone new would be Cook but it sure is not that new iPhone.

I am not that big with Apple, though I have had a couple of mac and apple gadgets, you just gotta love him, or leaning more towards like. He is such an inspiration for a lot of people, really.
