This add was in my local Craigslist Musicians section. This guy has had adds in there for a couple years without pricing and although I have never seen him on a gig I just can't believe the pricing. I hear about this all the time on the boards but had actually never seen it. I probably new it was going on but not with this level of equipment. I mean what the hell he is even providing some BBE Sonic Maximizers!!!!!!!!!!
If you have a gig in a local club/sports bar ect. and don't have a p.a. or just not enough p.a., I can help. I will provide 2-Mains JBL SRX725(2x15 w/4"voice coil horn), 4-Monitors JBL JRX100(1x12 w/ horn), 1-Sound Craft GBR2 16 channel Mixing Console, 2-Crown XS 1200 amps(3000 watts bridged for mains), 2 Crown XS 500 amps (For 4 separate monitor mixes at 250 watts per mix), 1-DBX DriveRack P.A., 3-BBE 882 Sonic Maximizer(1 for the mains in full range, 1 for monitor mix 1&2 and 1 for monitor mix 3&4) 1- DBX 2x31 band EQ (For monitor mix 1&2), 1-DBX 2x15 band EQ (For monitor mix 3&4),2- DBX 266 Compressor/Limiter(For Vox, Kick drum, ect.), 1-Alesis Midi Verb, 1-Shure BETA58 vocal mic, 4-Shure SM58 vocal mic, 5-Shure SM57 vocal/instr. mic, 4- Sennhiezer 609 drum mic, 1-AKG D112 Kick Drum mic, 1-AKG Perception 170 condenser mic, 4- dirrect boxes, all necessary mic stands and all necessary mic and speaker cables. I will provide all of this equipment, set it up and run it for $150 per night. If the gig is more than 25 miles from my house there will be an exrta charge of $25 for upto an additional 50 miles to offset the cost of gas. I live very close to Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. I have used this system in several local clubs/bars and have found it to be more than enough, but, if you want to have subs, it will cost an extra $50 per night for 2- JBL SRX728S duel 18" sub cabinets with necessary amps and cables.
None of the other companies that I know and partner with on a weekly basis are anywhere near this pricing so I know better then this. And I have seen his website he has 2-3 times this equipment, all fairly new.
