Radial J48 "MK2"

I see online ads for the Radial J48 "MK2" but no mention of it on Radial's web site. I think I've searched it pretty thoroughly.
Is there really a MK2? If so, I have questions. (I e-mailed Radial but they're off until early January)

1. How do you tell the "MK1" from the MK2?
2. Have they increased the max input level on the MK2? It's standard practice to use the pad when connecting the J48 to keyboards or active pickups as the DI can clip otherwise.

Re: Radial J48 "MK2"

Are you sure about that? I've seen the old JDI which had a case more like a Countryman, but I don't recall ever seeing a different box for the J48...

Radial's answer:

Hi Andrew. There is and has only ever been one J48. Some are called J48 and others J48 MK2. It's just a label. When you look at our web site there is no MK2 designation on the images or copy. I have worked for Radial for 20 years so please trust me when I say there is and has only ever been one J48 manufactured whether it say J48 or J48 MK2 they are identical
