You mentioned that when swapping converters they would generally run without issue. That would imply there is a possible PSU/adaptor pairing that is optimal and a pairing that isnt. It could be worthwhile testing each converter/PSU combination to find sets that are happy with each other. I would agree it "shouldnt" makke a difference, but may it just does.

FWIW,  we use the MultiDyne converters wherever possibe. Yellobrik are also highly recommended.
