Hi,

I would like to hear from experience how much louder are the 500 or 700 series vs the 300 series

For example if you have owned the art322 or the art312 and now own the art522/512 or art722/712

Can you tell me how much louder are the new series vs the old series

I want to get the x22 series but not sure which one

I have not looked them up so I ask the OP, what do the specs say?

While I agree that specs don't tell how they sound, they should give a good idea of the relative performance.

I never compared the 522A directly against the 322A, but I do know that the 522A is 4dB louder than a HPR122i, tested with pink noise and a variety of music playback at limiting. The 522A & 722A have a more punchy, fuller sound than the 322A.

I want 12 inch speakers to go with my art905as subs

I am torn between the 322, 522 or 722 (or even 4 art312 because they are very cheap now)

Looking for someone who has compared the 300 series to either the 500 or the 700
