My DAW defaults to 44.1 sample rate so when I record a session to my external hard drive , and I use a SS 500Gig hard drive , and then go to upload the session to my DAW ( protools 11 ) I need to create a new session and change the sample value to 48 . [QUOTE="Brian English, post: 217024, member: 15028"] I agree with Jeff . Sample rates ( speed the data is recorded and played back )need to match whatever speed the recording was done in. It is easy to find this out but in my case I use a QSC Touchmic 16 and the default recording speed or sample rate is 48 . If I fail to do that then the uploaded data will be corrupt in some way , usually slow and drawn out if from 48 to 44.1 or possible skipping if 44.1 to 48 . This is an important value to know if recording anything . your M32 manual should have that info in specs possibly , and whatever DAW you use should have a create new session feature that will allow you to change that parameter if needed . If you simply use a session you may have already set up for uploading recordings you may not be able to change the parameters , which is why I always use the create session function for all Hard drive Uploaded sessions .
